So why do some people claim that APX Alarm is a scam?

APX Alarm works very hard to remediate false statements, such as these, and uphold our reputation as an award-winning, world class alarm company.

Every summer, APX Alarm hires, trains and sends out more than 2,000 sales representatives, eager to work for a high-quality alarm company that offers them the chance to get their careers going. Our representatives can be found throughout the United States and Canada, and they are trained to uphold APX Alarm’s excellent reputation, as they collectively knock on more than 10 million doors every summer. We understand that some people do not like door-to-door sales, and we do our best to make sure that our sales team treats them with respect.

While the vast majority of people that interact with APX Alarm representatives have a good customer experience, there are a small number of people who have a bad experience – and some people who do not like door-to-door sales offers even if the offer is legitimate. Despite APX Alarm’s efforts, a small number of upset customers and consumers have posted their experiences on the Internet, sometimes claiming that APX Alarm is a scam or a “rip-off.”

For a reputable alarm company like APX Alarm, transparency is critical and we publish information regarding complaints we receive and resolutions we provide. For example, during the past three years, APX Alarm has received approximately 1,500 formal complaints, 99% of which have been satisfactorily resolved. Our entire focus is on providing the best customer service possible and we understand that owning up to our mistakes and making things right when mistakes do occur is a critical component in delivering world-class customer service.

When a company is as large as APX Alarm, and employs thousands of people, we do understand that not everything we do is going to be perfect. With that understanding in mind, we take every customer complaint seriously and do everything within our power to satisfy each and every customer.
